The JJ effect CIC have rallied together to hose two events to raise money for Kim Fletcher, who is battling cancer.
The aim is raise as much money as possible for Kim to help support her in her ongoing journey.
One event is a 300 mile bike rise from Preston to London, however the youth group also wanted to be involved with an event.
Therefore, the young people will be showing their support by doing a 24 hour treadmill walk and sleepover at the youth club in Smart Fitness.
Byron Highton, founder of the JJ Effect said: “We hope to raise as much funds as possible to support Kim but we hope that with the local support from yourselves as always we can go the extra mile not just for Kim but for our young people.”
The 24 hour treadmill walk, which takes place on Saturday 13 March, and more information can be found on their Facebook page.
