Teenager seriously injured after alley attack near Slug and Lettuce in Preston

The victim was left with a broken jaw following the attack

A man was left with a broken jaw and in need of surgery after being attacked in Preston. Police are now appealing for information following the assault.

The incident took place on Bolton’s Court in an alley at the side of Slug and Lettuce on September 4 between 2am and 4am. The victim, a 19-year-old man, suffered serious facial injuries after being punched in the head.

Police have launched a CCTV appeal asking the public to identify the people in the images. Officers say they want to speak to them in connection with the assault.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “Do you recognise the people in these images? We want to speak to them in connection with an assault in Preston city centre which left a man with a broken jaw.

“The victim, a 19 year old man, suffered serious facial injuries and needed surgery after he was punched in the head on Bolton’s Court, the alley at the side of Slug and Lettuce, in the early hours of Saturday 4th September. It’s thought it happened between 2am and 4am.

“We now need to speak to the people in the CCTV stills as we believe they may be able to help with our ongoing investigation.”
