Toys can be for any age, but must be new and unwrapped. The Salvation Army particularly struggle with getting toys donated for under-three’s and teenagers, so they would especially welcome those.

Board games are well-received as they can provide entertainment for the whole family over the Christmas period.

The Salvation Army also accept donations of sweets, chocolates and selection boxes to put in hampers for the families.

If you are unsure of what to donate, email The Salvation Army Preston where someone will advise. Alternatively, call 01772555425.
