A police manhunt is underway after a woman was left with head wounds following a bar attack in Preston.
Lancashire Constabulary said the incident happened at the Tulketh Tap Room, Tulketh Brow, on June 2. The victim was assaulted and sustained wounds to the back of her head.
Officers have today (July 20) launched an appeal to find Lewis Higham who is wanted in connection with the incident. The 30-year-old is described as 5ft 7ins tall with ‘very short balding hair’.
He has links to Ashton and Ingol and is known to frequent pubs in those areas. The public are being asked to report any sightings immediately.
In a statement on Facebook alongside a picture of Higham, a Preston Police spokesperson said: “We are asking for your help in finding Lewis Higham who is wanted in connection with an assault at a bar in Preston.
“The incident happened at the Tulketh Tap Room, Tulketh Brow, on June 2, with a woman sustaining wounds to the back of her head.
“Higham, 30, who has links to Ashton and Ingol, and is known to frequent pubs in those areas, is 5ft 7 and has very short balding hair.
“Any sightings of Higham or information, please call 101 or email 1468@lancashire.police.uk quoting log 1480 of June 2, 2022.”
