Preston City Council local elections 2022: Full list of candidates looking for your vote

Preston City Council Local Elections are scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 5 2022.

The political stance in Preston is set to be shaken up as the latest nominations for the local elections are revealed.

Members of the public now have the opportunity to vote for who they want to represent the areas they live in. There will be one vacancy in each of the Council’s 16 wards except Brookfield Ward which has two vacancies following the death of Councillor John Browne.

Those wanting to have their say in this years elections had until Thursday, April 14 to register. Anyone already on the register, you do not need to register again for Preston City Council local elections which are scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 5 2022.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on voting day.
