Ollie, 28, will face three other professionals in a bid to go through to Friday’s quarter final
Ollie revealed his love for cooking was inspired by his gran
A chef who works at Blackburn’s prestigious Northcote is set to appear on tonight’s MasterChef: The Professionals.
Born in Preston, 28-year-old Ollie lives with his girlfriend in Clitheroe and works at Northcote in Langho. He will go up against three other professionals in a bid to go through to Friday’s quarter final.
In tonight’s episode Ollie must impress in two tests: first the daunting Skills Test, and then, cook two dishes of their own creation in the Signature Menu round. Only the chefs who can demonstrate they could have the all-round skills, technique and flair of a future champion will make it through to the quarter final.

Ollie revealed his love for cooking was inspired by his gran: “Just like lots of people I’m sure, I cooked with family growing up as a child. My gran was always a big inspiration for me and I have lots of memories of cooking with her. I guess that’s where it all started.”
The judges on MasterChef: The Professionals; Marcus Wareing, Gregg Wallace and Anna Haugh, will then choose two chefs to go through to the last quarter final.
Ollie added: “MasterChef: The Professionals is an extremely prestigious competition and I feel I’m ready to compete. I know I can work well under pressure so it’s time to test that at the next level.”
