Two brothers from Bamber Bridge have dedicated their time to inspiring people from the local area to get fit and active through a unique boot camp experience.
Adam and Jordan Walne spent their childhood exploring the woodland at the back of their parent’s home, building dens and climbing trees.
Having discovered a passion for rugby league at high school, both brothers fulfilled their dreams when they went on to play Super League for a number of years from 2013.
Adam and Jordan said: “Whilst on our journey in rugby we have had the privilege to work under some of the leading strength and conditioners in sport.
“We have also worked with elite psychologists, physiotherapists, nutritionists and some of the best coaches in the world.
“It’s through our experiences within an elite sporting environment that we have found a real passion and understanding of health and fitness.”
Following their retirement from the sport, the brothers now dedicate their time to sharing their love of fitness by helping people in Bamber Bridge and its surrounding areas to get active and stay in shape.
Having launched their outdoor conditioning club, Raw&Outdoor, the pair hope to share their elite sporting knowledge in a format that inspires, gets people active, and helps to improve mental health.
The brothers said: “Our mission is to package up all of our knowledge from working within elite sport and deliver it in a way that allows absolutely anybody to thrive regardless of whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced trainer.

“To be fit, healthy and strong there really is no need to make things over complicated, but by making things unconventional and enjoyable, it can massively increase adherence and therefore increase performance.
“Every one of our sessions is planned with a specific outcome in mind and although we use pieces of kit that you wouldn’t necessarily see in a commercial gym, there is absolute method to our madness.
“Ultimately our aim is to bring real value to the community and create a strong sense of purpose and belonging for everybody to become a part of.”
