First look at Revolution Preston’s new menu as well as prices, opening date, how to book

There’s a number of new dishes on the menu, inspired by cuisines from around the world

Revolution returns to Preston this summer and the food menu has now been revealed. The vodka chain bar and restaurant will be located on Fishergate, in the former four-storey Fishers building.

It has undergone a £1.5m transformation and returns to the town after an eight-year absence, with the former venue on Main Sprit Weind, off Church Street, closing in 2014.

LancsLive revealed the bar’s impending arrival back in March and also unveiled a first look at what it would look like. Computer-generated images show off a number of cool interior design features, including naked lightbulbs, neon signs and a huge collage image of the Queen on a wall.

The venue will be available for private functions, regularly host party nights and cocktail masterclasses, bottomless brunch and Christmas events and is set to be a midweek hotspot for students, especially during Freshers Week.

Revolution North West was recently crowned the Bar Brand of the Year at the National Pub & Bar Awards.

The menu is diverse and varied, with new dishes, including plant-based foods added to the existing options. Guests can expect familiar favourites such as pizzas mixed in with fresh classics representing number of world cuisines, from Americana to Eastern Asian cuisines.

They include Loaded Mac’n’Cheese, Blue Cheese & Truffle Burgers and bao buns. There’s also light bites, grazing dishes, sandwiches, wraps and lunch deals (£8.50 for sandwich, salad or bowl and soft drink).

The menu reflects the chain’s focus on providing healthier options for customers. There’s also a dessert menu and full hot drink offering, soft drinks, beers, wines and of course more than 50 flavours of vodka to choose from .

New and amended dishes

Grazers (any three for £15 or five for £23) – Tandoori chicken skewers, pea and mint falafel, onion bhajis, hummus and flatbread, halloumi fries, charred BBQ corn, crispy fried chicken corn dogs.

Existing grazers: dough balls, loaded nachos, tempura prawns.

Mains (from £8.50 to £13.00) – Asian bowl, grain bowl, loaded mac n cheese, fish and chips, buffalo chicken burger, classic simplicity burger, tandoori chicken burger and blue cheese and truffle burger

Existing main: chicken and chips, katsu chicken, chicken Caesar salad

Pizza (from £8 to £12.50) – The BBQ meaty one, nduja and pineapple, truffle mushroom Bianco. Pizzas come in either ‘regular’ or ‘skinny’, which is half pizza with a side salad option.

Existing pizzas: margherita, hot Mexican

Sharers (£10) – Blue cheese and truffle fries and cheeseburger fries

Other dishes

Burgers and dogs (from £12 to £14) – classic beef, chilli cheese, fried chicken, buffalo chicken, cheese and bacon, Korean BBQ pork tandoori chicken, Rev’s chilli dog, Rev’s dog.

Rev’s House sharer and Rev’s veggie sharer (both £21.50)

Desserts (from £5.50) – chocolate brownie, strawberry waffle, So S’moreish, Pornstar cheesecake.

The venue will be open seven days a week 11am to 1am Sunday to Thursday and 11am to 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. Food is served 11am to 9pm every day.

You can book a table here from Sunday, July 10 following the bar’s soft launch period with an opening party scheduled for Friday, July 8.
